FELINE is an all female drum’n’bass monthly at Herbal in London, with some of the top female DJs and MCs as residents. It features an intimate, friendly, diverse, and trendy vibe that is hard to be found nowadays. At Feline you won’t hear any testosterone- fuelled rave sound, but a perfectly blended mix of the best tunes from all the labels that still push boundaries in this music. As a result Feline attracts an audience that is equally well mixed, musically open-minded and cheerful. Resident DJs at FELINE are DJ STORM, DJ FLIGHT, ALLEY CAT, and MISS PINK, who are also the selection of DJs available for FELINE nights. Vocal support comes from the very talented MCs CHICKABOO, DEEIZM and AYAH. While so-called ‘ladies nights’ are not a new concept, Feline aims to finally give it an acceptable angle, by providing truly talented artists and a fitting branding to make it as special as if feels in the London club. The past two years saw the FELINE brand venturing outside of London with appearances in Italy, Hungary, Estonia, Wales, Germany, Switzerland, Romania. With more FELINE nights in the works for the whole of Europe and beyond in 2009, this brand is one to watch.

DJ STORM
DJ Storm is officialy the 1st Lady of Drum’n’Bass, a title she has earned herself through years of hard work for the drum’n’bass scene, pushing the Metalheadz labe,l and as role model to hundreds of aspiring female DJs out there. Storm has been DJing for nearly 15 years now, as one of the main representatives of the hugely popular Metalheadz label. With much ambition and little compromise she managed to sustain her career as a pure DJ, with no backing of releases, and pushed the musical boundaries along her way. Storm has not only played almost everywhere in Europe, but all across the world, including many tours of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the USA and trips to exotic destinations like Israel, Iceland, Brazil, Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan.
DJ FLIGHT
Despite Flight being the youngest of the Feline DJs, she has a number of high profile credentials under her belt. She is a resident dj for Goldie's Metalheadz camp, Fabio's night Swerve and resident-on-rotation at Grooverider's night Grace. For years, she had her own radio show called ‘The Next Chapter’ at Britains influential digital radio station BBC 1xtra. Flight has played across the UK, all over Europe, the U.S.A, Canada and as far afield as Japan. Flight has released mix-CDs on Reinforced Records & Defunked. Together with Breakage under the name ‘Alias’ she has also produced tracks for labels like Critical, Bassbin and 31 Records. Most recently Flight has also set up her own company, a record label, play:musik, and artist booking agency, play:agency.
ALLEY CAT
To promote the label ‘Skunkrock Productions’ Alley Cat has has been DJing internationally for 10 years, where she has graced the decks in over 20 European states as well as all over the USA, in South Africa and even Israel. Some of the most exotic destinations include, Honolulu, Reykjavik, Johannesburg and Tel Aviv. She has upheld a quarter yearly guest residency at Berlin's popular Icon Club for the past 8 years. Not only has Alley Cat built a name for herself in mainland Europe, but she has played at some of the most prestigious nights in the UK. As a resident of Feline, she’s using her promotional skills to push the name via their myspace page and through her work as a co-agent at ESP International. She has also mixed and released two label compilations for Skunkrock, mixed cover cds for Knowledge Mag and Freee Mag (Hungary), and has had her tracks released on Skunkrock and Reinforced.
MISS PINK
Miss Pink started DJing 10 years ago on the London underground and festival scene. She has played all over europe and the UK, including regular sets at Movement at Bar Rumba and many Glastonbury festivals. Radio and online gigs followed on Interface Radio and Ruud Awakening pirate station. Miss Pink joined BM Soho (aka Blackmarket Records) in 2001 and currently co-manages the Drum’n’Bass department alongside Nicky Blackmarket, Ray Keith, Clarky of Metalheadz and Ash-a-Tak. She has residencies in London at Herbal and Soma.
MC CHICKABOO
Chickaboo started out in Birmingham in 92. She has worked with some of the worlds best Drum&Bass DJs: DJ Dazee, DJ Craze, DJ Rap, Jumping Jack Frost, DJ Storm, DJ Bailey, Goldie and the legendry Afrika Bambaata to name only a few! Working with ease within many different styles of music, MC Chickaboo has provided vocal skills for DJ's and producers as diverse as Cosmo, Rennie Pilgrem and Jazzie B. She is a Funki Dred with The Soul2Soul Soundsystem. MC Chickaboo is the front person for Rennie Pilgrem's new band The TCR Allstars who wowed thousands with their performances at Glade, Glastonbury and Fabric London. As dynamic in the studio as she is on stage, MC Chickaboo has written, performed and recorded vocals for many groundbreaking producers: Timo Maas, Rennie Pilgrem, DJ Friendly, General Midi, Suda (Faithless), Bitches Brew, Jeans Jaques Smoothie, Stabilizer, Superstyle Deluxe and BLIM. MC Chickaboo is currently working on her solo album, which will bring together a wide range of talents and styles from the scene she loves and has been involved in for over 12 years.
DEEIZM
As a powerful but not aggressive MC/Singer, Shelley aka Deeizm gained the respect throughout the UK garage scene that she got her first taste of MC’ing. After six years in the music industry, Shelley finally had her own studio and got signed exclusively to the Good Looking Organisation, MC’ing for Makoto as well as guest DJ’s at Progression Sessions. Her style is very influenced by the combination of future jazz and funk that can be found in drum+bass. Nowadays she is busy in the studio working on her new album with Makoto as well material for Zinc’s Bingo label and of course as always touring the clubs around globe.
AYAH
Ayah's singing career began when she recorded her first single 'Dance Child' with Metalheadz DJ/Producers, Loxy & Ink. Ayah also delivered the vocals to The Insiders’ Metalheadz single ‘Meldown’. With releases forthcoming for Hospital, CIA and CINNA, Ayah has given the world a taste of what’s to come from her in the future. Since then Ayah has gone on to become a seriously respected MC on the D&B circuit, holding down residencies at nights as diverse as the hard-hitting Therapy Sessions, Feline and the soulful night Intrigue. Ayah can also regularly be found at Hospitality, Herbal, The End and Cargo as well as the Summer festival circuit. In recent months, Radio 1, Kiss FM and 1xtra have all been spreading the Ayah love.
