Paradox has just released the debut ‘Paradox Presents: The Age of Outsiders’ compilation on his talent-spotting Outsider imprint. Not far behind the project is the 19th Outsider release and a debut DnB 12” from Lithuania in the shape of Spotless. A name to watch out for in 2008.
The flagship label Paradox Music are just about to release their first 12” of 2008. Dj Trax drop’s his debut 12” ‘Warmth/Bs Theme’ [PM16] signifying that the glorious dnb spring and summer is upon us. The rare solo-works of Paradox are about to change as the producer has been busy lab-wise and is ready to unleash a batch of Paradox 12’s, one being ‘Perhaps the Future’ [PM17] so something to look forward to this summer.
Nucleus and Paradox are about to unleash their 10th partnership 12” on Occult label ‘Esoteric’. The pair really have dwelved into their B-boy roots and the end result is ‘B-Boy Ascendance / Zenith’s Core’. Expect the 12” next month !!!
Nucleus and Paradox also cross the major label path and Universal drop’s ‘Descendants’ on CD this spring.
Arctic Music, the Alaska label purely focussing on the mid-90’s lost forms of Ambient DnB has just released its 3rd chapter via Alaska & Kirsty Hawkshaw. The White-Vinyl ‘Juneau/Glaciation’ 12” is out now and promises to re-ignite some depth into a fisher-price scene.
Seba and Paradox have taken a 12” break recently mainly due to the pair recording their debut artist album. The currently untitled LP see’s the producers compile a class collection of beats across a range of tempos, expressing themselves from 70’s Funk to 90’s UK Jungle.
Paradox will be performing live throught 2008 and Seba & Paradox will also be touring to promote the LP so expect the duo to hit USA and across Europe this winter !!
